On June 18, the AquaStarz challenged the Auburn Mermaids in league competition. Emma Meads and Christy Kubota took home first-place ribbons in their respective divisions.

Meads won first in the Intermediate ages 11-12 division, while Kubota took first in the Novice ages 11-12 division. Also placing high in the rankings were Molly Thomas, taking second place in the Novice ages 11-12 division, and Jocelyn Cavins, with a second in the Novice ages 9-10 division. This was the first meet in which Cavins had competed.
