V-FCAL Championships Results

Novice age 12 swimmers Christy Kubota and Molly Thomas won first-place medals for their duet to "That's Amore," and Kubota went on to win a second gold medal for figures. Both Kubota and Thomas, who came in sixth in figures, qualified with teammates Jessica Hughes, who was third, and Clara Riggle, fourth, for the Intermediate swimmers category for their figures. This means they will compete in the higher division next season. Hughes and Riggle also won fifth place for their duet "Don't Worry, Be Happy" in the Novice age 12 and under group.

Amelia Otto-Cutting came in eighth in the Novice ages 9-10 category, and Katie O'Brien was fourth in the Novice ages 15-18 category. Otto-Cutting also won second place for her solo to "Istanbul" in the Novice 12 and under category.

Other first-place medals went to Maddie Peauroi for her solo "Tango" in the Intermediates 11-14 category, and to Kaitlynn Plaskett, for her "Circle of Life" solo in the Novice age 12 and under category.

Anna Hollander, Alexandra Wong and Emma Meads won third place for their trio to "Wanna Ride?" in the Intermediate ages 11-14 category, while Krysten Cholewinski and Elise Peauroi received fifth place for their duet to "Fame" and "New York, New York," in the Intermediate ages 15-18 category. Elise Peauroi also won fourth place in the Intermediates ages 15-18 category for her figures, while Meads won seventh place in the Intermediate ages 11-12 group.

Jessalyn Eernisse, fifth place, solo routine, in Intermediate ages 15-18.
Natalie Shuman, fourth place, solo routine, in Novice ages 12 and under.
